The Worm Hive

The wormery that is made of wood, looks like a beehive and recycles your kitchen waste to make a rich compost.

All wormeries can produce a rich compost that is a natural 'organic' compost for your garden but the worm hive is the only one that does not look like a plastic dustbin.

The worm hive is attractive, made from Forestry Stewardship Council  (FSC) timber from the woods of  Devon and Cornwall. We use two types:-

  • English Red Cedar which can be left to weather naturally or painted in a range of colours.
  • Larch and Douglas fir softwood which is painted in a range of colours or left natural for you to treat as you wish

The hive can be sited anywhere in the garden but the most convenient place is near your kitchen door.

So, why not help the environment by recycling your fruit and vegetable waste and become the proud owner of a worm hive

They make an excellent gift for friends and family who are concerned about the environment and wish to do their bit.
